Pristina suffered a 3-0 away loss to Ferencvaros in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the Champions League and have an uphill task trying to turn the clash in their favor. The hosts managed to see off Folgore and Inter Club in the earlier rounds but the challenge became tougher with progress. Here they are now, with two wins and two losses in the last four matches while three of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals. In four of their last five matches, they’ve been able to score two goals; that was until they met Ferencvaros. They haven’t scored more than two goals in their last five matches though, and to get back into this tie they need at least three unanswered goals. In their history, this will be only the second home game in the Champions League for Pristina; the first ended in a 2-0 win over Inter Club.

Ferencvaros have played a lot of Champions League football and while they are more experienced in the competition, they will also have an advantage with the huge first leg win. That was their fifth straight win, and 12th unbeaten game. They have scored two or more goals in their last five matches but have just two clean sheets in the five matches. Last season Ferencvaros were in the same Champions League group as Barcelona and Juventus. They managed just one point from that group and with their experience playing at this level, they should be able to dispatch their hosts with ease.
