Fabian Marozsan vs Marton Fucsovics Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

It's an all Hungarian clash in the first round of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam. Marton Fucsovics takes on compatriot Fabian Marozsan, both players being unseeded. For the winner there's a second round match against either sixth seed Grigor Dimitrov or unseeded Lorenzo Sonego. This is an ATP 500 tournament played on an indoor hard court. Fucsovics is 85th in the live rankings which is 24 places below his opponent. The 32-year-old is playing only his third singles tournament of the year. It's not gone well for him in the Brisbane International and the Australian Open with both of his matches being lost. He did finally get a win when representing Hungary in the Davis Cup beating Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets. He's only played Marozsan once before and that was on the Challenger Tour in 2022. Fucsovics won that in straight sets but is not the favorite to win this second meeting.

Fabian Marozsan is 61st in the live rankings and that's only four places below the career high he set at the end of last month. The 24-year-old reached the last 16 in Auckland last month and then made it to the third round of the Australian Open with wins over Marin Cilic and 21st seeded Francisco Cerundolo before being beaten by Taylor Fritz. That was his best ever performance in a Grand Slam event. He also played in that Davis Cup match against Germany but lost to Dominik Koepfer. This looks like being a close match and we believe Marozsan can edge it.
