England will be at home to take on Ivory Coast in their second friendly match of the current international window after their win over Switzerland. The Three Lions came from down to sink Switzerland 2-1 with a much changed squad and will be looking to wrap it up with a win. Since their loss to Italy on post match penalties in the 2020 Euro, England are unbeaten. They’ve gone eight matches now without losing and get to this one on three straight wins. They have three clean sheets in the last five matches and four wins in the five. In all their last five matches they’ve scored, with Harry Kane being a key man in this. He scored the winner against Switzerland, his 49th international goal and will be the man looked upon against the African giants again. In England’s last three matches, Kane has scored eight goals.

Ivory Coast are coming from a loss to world champions France. Nicolas Pepe scored the opener in the game but France responded in strong fashion to win 2-1 in Marseille. The Ivorians are in a transition period; they will not be going to the 2022 World Cup and this is their time to start reshaping for the coming assignments. They have a decent scoring run, failing to score in just one game in the last five. However, they are coming from two straight winless outings. With three goals in their last five matches, Pepe has been their key man. He seems to be enjoying it there more than at Arsenal and his knowledge of some of the English players will be a plus.
