Tipped as the top favorites to win the competition, England haven't disappointed the swarms of expecting home fans hoping to see the Red Roses end their decade-long wait for the Women's Rugby World Cup title.
From their remarkable opening victory over USA at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland to their rout of Samoa at Franklin's Gardens, the European giants are on track for another epic campaign in the prestigious Women's Rugby tournament. They have already booked their spot in the knockout stages, but must settle the score with Australia on Saturday on who wins Group A.
Joanne Yapp's Australia could be considered the dark horses in the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup capable of springing surprises. However, it's yet a finished business for the Wallaroos in Group A. The World No. 6 sits second in the group with eight points, and have both their knockout hopes and the top spot to fight for on Saturday.

England - Australia: Form Analysis
England's chances in this match are never in doubt. With the raucous support of the fans, the Red Roses have enjoyed a stellar run in the tournament. They began with a declaration victory over USA, easing past the Eagles by a staggering 62-point margin.
The victory against USA was just a tip of the iceberg. Their second fixture versus Samoa ended with one of the widest winning margins in the tournament so far. Helena Rowland scored a record 27 points, inspiring the team to a comprehensive 92-3 victory. This result marked the team's 28th successive victory.
England have not tasted defeat since March 2023 and have won all of their 28 fixtures since then!
After an impressive opening victory against Samoa, Australia dropped points in their last match, settling for a 31-31 draw against USA. This result saw them fall two points below England at the top. Joanne Yapp's side will face their toughest test in the tournament against the Red Roses on Saturday.

England & Australia Squad Analysis
England captain and top No.8 Zoe Aldcroft has been ruled out of this match due to injury. Nevertheless, the hosts are unshaken with veteran loose forward Alex Matthews lined up as her replacement.
Notably, John Mitchell's side boasts one of the most formidable attacks in this tournament and headlining this prolific offense on Sunday will be attacking duo Jess Breach and Alysha Corrigan. Australia will have to watch out for the deadly duo who are leading the tournament with the highest number of line breaks (eight each).
Saracens Women's wing Jess Breach will make her 44th appearance for England against Australia
Australia will head into this match with worrying injury cases. Leading the list is team captain Brianna Hoy who is nursing a knee injury. Charlotte Caslick who is grappling with an ankle issue has been named in the squad despite missing the opener against Samoa.
Notwithstanding, it's not all gloom for the Wallaroos. Veteran flanker Emily Chancellor is back after an ACL blow and is a big boost to Joanne Yapp's defense options. Attacking sensation Desiree Miller, who has tallied five tries in the tournament already, is also expected to spice up the teams attack and strain England's defense with her scoring threat.
