Emil Ruusuvouri faces Mackenzie McDonald aiming to reach round two at Wimbledon for the second time. If that is achieved, that'll set up a match against either 11th seed Stefanos Tsitsipas or unseeded Taro Daniel.

The Finn is 87th in the latest ranking list and seven places higher in the live rankings. He's doing better in the Live ATP Race and is in 61st position at the start of this grass court Grand Slam.

His only appearance in round two came a couple of years ago. He's only played the Surbiton and Eastbourne grass court events this year, winning one of his three matches. That was a good win though with Cameron Norrie being beaten.

Mackenzie McDonald trails his opponent 2-1 in previous meetings. He won their first match but has lost twice since then. This is their first match played on a grass court.

The American is currently 96th in the rankings but was a career-high 37th last year. He's up to 92nd in the live rankings but was outside the top 350 in the ATP Race before this tournament.

It's been a poor year for McDonald with just one main draw win on the ATP Tour. That was on grass in the Libema Open when beating Botic van de Zandschulp. Since then he's won just one of his four matches and that was a qualifier.
