The hosts in this game have so far managed 23 points and Sociedad are fifth with 50 points. A run of 15 winless league matches leaves Eibar as top favorites for relegation even though they are just five points below 17th place. That’s next to impossible, but Sociedad are in a strong position to vie for a Europa League slot. They need to work on their defence, having failed to keep a clean sheet in the last six matches. Four of Sociedad’s last five league matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they have just a win in the last six away league matches.
