The Little Caesars Arena will come to life on Thursday night for Game 6 of the NBA Playoff series between the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks. The Pistons beat the Knicks in Game 5 to keep the series alive, but they still trail 3-2. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

Win, lose, or draw, the Detroit Pistons have already overachieved this season. It still beggars belief that this team were the worst in the NBA last year and are now fighting for a spot in the Conference semis. 

Detroit pulled off an incredible 106-103 win in Game 5, a victory that was a testament to their character and determination. At the forefront of their fight has been Cade Cunningham, who scored 24 points in the last game. 

Jalen Duran has been a colossus on the boards all series, while Tobias Harris and Ausar Thompson backed up Cunningham with 39 points combined. 

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are in a nervy spot here and are running the risk of suffering the same fate as they did last season when they failed to put away the Pacers. 

New York had a couple of scary moments in the last game with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart both almost sustaining injuries. Both shook it off and are cleared for this game.

While all of the Knicks' starters and Mitchell Robinson got into double-digits in the last game, you get the feeling a little more is needed from Brunson and Towns to put away the Pistons in this one.
