These two clubs have had troublesome seasons but are now moving away from the bottom three. Derby County are up to 18th and host Nottingham Forest who are three places above them. The home side are now eight points clear of the relegation zone. Their home form is the main reason for their rise out of the bottom three. Their last four home league games have all been won. A great stat but even better is the fact three of those wins have come against sides currently in the top eight. It's a massive improvement considering they had just one win in their previous 12 home league fixtures. That other win was over Swansea, currently fourth. Tuesday saw them beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 at home as they gradually ease their relegation worries.

Nottingham Forest have also had their fair share of time in the bottom three this season. Like their opponents, they are on their second coach of the season. Forest are up to 15th and ten points above the bottom three. They are the same number of points behind the final promotion play-off position. Forest come into this game with one loss in the last six league matches. They have won two of their last three games. Tuesday saw them get an important 1-0 away win at relegation-threatened Rotherham United. Four of their last five away league games have been won Before that they had won just one of their last 16 away Championship fixtures. Most of their recent wins have come against struggling sides. This is tougher, especially with Derby's improved home form and the teams they have been beating. Go for a home win.
