They've finally done it after 16 years. Friday saw top-of-the-table Leeds United clinch promotion and now they travel to Derby County who are 11th in the table. Leeds United haven't been in the Premier League since 2004 but will be next season. They didn't even need to kick a ball on Friday as second-placed West Bromwich Albion lost 2-1 at Huddersfield Town. The title will be theirs if Brentford fail to win at Stoke City on Saturday. If not, then just a point at Derby will see them win the title. Thursday saw Leeds beat Barnsley 1-0 at home, their fourth straight win in the Championship and with clean sheets in the last three. United have won 2 away league games this season. Four of the last five have been won, the other being a 2-0 defeat at Cardiff. Three clean sheets have been kept in those five matches

Derby County are hanging onto their very slim hopes of promotion back to the Premier League. A point for Cardiff  or a win for Millwall on Saturday will end those hopes. Even if results go in their favour, they will need two big wins to stand any chance of making the play-offs. They had been in the running for a top six finish with a run of four straight league victories. However, the four games that have followed have produced just a single point. Their most recent game was a 2-1 loss at Cardiff City on Tuesday evening, their third loss in a row. After this game, they travel to Birmingham City on the final day of the regular season. Home form has seen Derby draw with Nottingham Forest and losing to Brentford in their last two league games. Only two of their last six home league matches have been won with three being drawn. Both teams have scored in all but one of those six fixtures, so a bet worth considering for this match. Leeds can get the victory here.
