It has been a downward spiral for CSKA Moscow since their shock win at home to Real Madrid; they have suffered back to back losses to Roma, which has left their hopes in disarray but with the leading two sides in the group set to face off, the Russians have a chance to close the gap to within two points, before their final match, away to Real Madrid in Spain. Plzen have picked three straight losses in the group and the draw with CSKA Moscow on Match Day One remains their only point for the campaign. Already, they can’t advance to the second round but they can fight for a place in the Europa League, though that will also prove tough, given it will be against Roma.
