Crystal Palace are set to start all over again when they host West Bromwich Albion after a 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur smashed their three-game unbeaten run. Palace go to this game having registered 34 points and are in 13th place, while West Bromwich Albion are 19th, with 18 points. For both sides, this match will be very crucial in their quests to beat relegation though with 10 matches still to play, and 30 points up for grabs it is still early to call the survival race. Palace are eight points above the relegation zone but their defensive shape has been of a serious relegation contender. They’ve conceded 47 goals in 28 matches, making them the second poorest defensive side, after West Bromwich Albion. They haven’t also been prolific scorers in the season, and go here having failed to score in three of their last five matches. In their last 15 matches, Palace have scored two or more goals in just four but they’ve conceded two or more in five of their last 10 matches. At home, they have no goal in the last three matches and their situation is made worse by a long injury list. Centre-back James Tomkins, midfielder James McArthur, James McCarthy, Mamadou Sakho and Tyrick Mitchell are all ruled out, while Nathaniel Clyne, Wayne Hennessey, Nathan Ferguson are major doubts for the game.

West Brom have no win in their last four away league matches and haven’t scored in the last two. Sam Allardyce’s side has lost three of the last four away league matches and has conceded twice in four of the last five away league matches. One win in 13 away league matches this season places West Brom just above Sheffield United as the worst performers away from home.
