Crystal Palace are closer to securing survival after going through yet another tough campaign and as they host Manchester United, the target will be to secure three points. Roy Hodgson’s side is placed 13th with 33 points while Manchester United head to the game in second place with 50 points. Palace’s 0-0 draw with Fulham handed them just their fourth clean sheet in the last 15 matches, and they also have four wins in the same run. In the last four matches, Palace have managed just one win, and it called for a last minute Christian Benteke goal to bag three points against Brighton. They’ve failed to score in three of their last four matches, and lost two of them, while their home form hasn’t also been the best. The Eagles have managed just 16 points out of a possible 39 in their home matches. With two wins in the last three meetings with Manchester United, Palace can have some hope going to this game.

Manchester United haven’t lost any of their last nine matches across all competitions, though the last five have come with just two wins. They have four wins in their last 10 matches and six clean sheets. United have gone into some sort of slump, where they don’t lose matches, but also don’t win, a case in point, their draw with Chelsea right ahead of this. They’re unbeaten in the last six league matches, but with four draws. In the last 20 league matches they have one loss, and 12 wins. Their biggest hunting base has been in away matches, where United haven’t lost in their last 20 matches. They’ve collected 29 of a possible 39 points in the 13 away league matches.
