Crystal Palace and Everton put their perfect records on the line on Saturday when they meet at Selhurst Park for Premier League action. The Eagles followed up a 1-0 home win over Southampton with a stunning 3-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend. It leaves them fifth in the table having taken maximum points from their opening two matches. Everton have also taken all of the points on offer thus far, leaving them second in the table thanks to their superior goal difference. They kicked off the campaign with a confident 1-0 win at Tottenham before blowing West Brom away in a 5-2 triumph at Goodison Park. Dominic Calvert-Lewin got a hat-trick in that victory over the Baggies to go with the winner he scored against Spurs. It makes him the joint-top scorer in the division. Palace's Wilfried Zaha is only one behind him after hitting the only goal versus the Saints and two past former club United. Palace fans feel confident about the speed and skill in their forward line. Zaha is supported by Jordan Ayew, Andros Townsend, and new signing Eberechi Eze. For sides that play a high defensive line like United, this is troublesome. Everton are also developing a project that could secure European football. With Carlo Ancelotti at the helm and James Rodriguez pulling the strings in midfield, it is the kind of cast one would usually expect to see in the Champions League. That's the Toffees' aim.
