Crystal Palace had a terrible start to the season so will be pretty pleased that they start this weekend in 14th place. That sounds healthy but they are still only two points above the bottom three so they aren't out of the woods yet despite their improved form. They have only lost two of their last 12 league and cup games and at home have only been beaten by Arsenal in their last nine home league and cup matches. Goals have been scored regularly with a run of scoring twice in seven straight home games before a goalless draw with Manchester City.  The news that Wilfried Zaha will be staying at the club is a relief, though most fans won't believe it until February comes along. They have a worrying fixture list coming up. After this home match, three of the next four at Selhurst Park are against Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United and they have to travel to Arsenal, Everton, West Ham and Chelsea. A win here is key for their hopes to stay out of the bottom three. Burnley are seventh in the table but five points adrift of Arsenal in sixth and ten points off fourth place. The home win over Stoke last month took them up to fourth in the table but since then they have played five league games and only earned points from three draws with three goals scored. Burnley have no wins in their last five away league and cup away matches and after this game, two of their next three league games are against the two Manchester clubs. This will be a tight game but Palace can get a narrow win.
