Croatia vs Turkiye Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

The top two in Euro qualifying group D meet on Thursday. Croatia top the group with ten points, the same number as visitors Turkey but ahead on head-to-head results. The top two lead third and fourth placed Armenia and Wales by three points. Croatia are in a strong position as they have a game in hand on their group rivals. Because of their Nations League performances they are already guaranteed a place in the play-offs but shouldn't need them. Three of their group fixtures have been won with the other a 1-1 home draw with Wales. They have never been beaten in a home Euro qualifier and won the reverse fixture with Turkey 2-0. Six of their last seven home Euro qualifiers have seen them score at least twice.

Turkey are also in the position where they are guaranteed a play-off position. No one wants to end up in those though but the Turks final three games aren't that straightforward. Lativa at home should supply three points but this game and a trip to Wales may well damage their qualification hopes. Turkey have won three of their five group matches with the others being a 1-1 home draw with third placed Armenia and that loss to Croatia. They have won in Armenia and Latvia but this is a far more difficult assignment for them. Only two of their last five internationals have been won and their last outing was a 4-2 away loss in Jappan. We back Croatia to get a vital win.
