Costa Rica vs Northern Ireland Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies

2017 was going well for Costa Rica with a semi-final in the Gold Cup and qualification for the World Cup but the last part of the year and 2018 has seen them struggling for form with just one win in their last seven games. They are struggling for goals too and need to find some form quickly before heading to Russia to take on Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland. The last four games have only seen Costa Rica score once and they ended their World Cup campaign with three games without a win. Four of their last five games have ended in defeat and with two more friendlies to come against England and Belgium, there could be more problems before they even get to Russia.

They take on a Northern Ireland side that are also struggling at present and have failed to score in their last three games. Northern Ireland lost in the play-offs to Switzerland thanks to that dodgy penalty in the first leg.  Away form has been poor for a while and they on their travels they only beat the bottom two sides. Their last six matches have only produced one victory and they have only won three of their last 13 away goals. A bet on under 2.5 goals looks to be the one to go for with both sides a bit goal shy at present.
