Corinthians are sitting pretty at the top of Serie A with a seven point lead. They are undefeated in the league with nine wins and two draws with just five goals conceded. Home form is impressive with five wins and a draw and they have kept clean sheets in their last three. Only 11 goals in six games though so they are winning their games in workmanlike fashion rather than getting one big win over another. Ponte Preta are down in 11th but that's only four points behind fourth placed Palmeiras. They only have one win in their last five league games and are still looking for their first away win of the season. Six away league games have produced three draws and three defeats with 11 goals in those games and none in the last four. Their last two away games have both ended in 0-0 draws and Ponte Preta have only scored twice away from home. Corinthians can get another home win here but I'm not going for a handicap bet as the away side don't suffer too many heavy defeats. Go for Corinthians to win to nil.
