Future FC vs Supersport United Prediction & Betting Tips - Caf Confederation Cup

Group A in the CAF Confederation Cup will get underway this weekend, with Future FC playing host to Supersport United on Sunday. The hosts qualified for this competition after finishing fourth in the Egyptian Premier League last season. They managed 58 points and were just two points off Zamalek in third place. Future have also made an impressive start this term, currently in third place with 12 points after six games. They had the opportunity to take the outright lead in the league standings before the international break but lost their match 1-0 to ENPPI.  The only other defeat they have conceded this season was to the second-placed Pyramids back in October. The hosts failed to make it out of the group stages in this competition last season, finishing behind AS FAR and Pyramids. However, they have made noticeable improvements since then and will be expecting a better return this term. 

Meanwhile, Supersport United earned their place in this competition by finishing third in the PSL standings last season. They missed out on a CAF Champions League spot on the final day of the season when they were beaten by Sekhukhune United 1-0 on the road. And it was the same opponent that beat them 2-1 before the international break this season. Still, the visitors are having another promising campaign this term, currently in second place, one point behind Mamelodi Sundowns. The Brazilians have played four games less, though. Supersport were impressive in the preliminary round, as they overcame Gaborone United 4-1 on aggregate, but they did draw the away leg 1-1 before winning 3-0 at home. The bookmakers have the visitors down as the outsiders in this one.
