Club Brugge host Antwerp in what should be a cracking game before the World Cup break. The Brugge side are riding on a high after their impressive champions league qualification and five clean sheets in six continental games. Things are much less rosy domestically, where the Brugge outfit find themselves fourth best and eleven points behind leaders Genk. The Belgian Champions have also hit a bit of a rough patch in recent games, winning just one of their last six games in normal time, while they needed extra time in midweek to beat third-tier side Patro Eisden for the cup. On the upside, look no further than their home form to gage their true strength, with Club Brugge winning ten of their last thirteen games at the Jan Breydel Stadion. 

Antwerp are also experiencing slight regression after a period of early promise. While they are second in the league, they are nine points behind Genk and have surely a lot of work to do to make the leaders anxious. Antwerp have lost four of their last eight games in all competition, while they have triumphed just once in their last six games in normal time as well. They needed penalties-time to see off their midweek Cup opposition, eliminating Beveren after an entertaining 2-2 draw. On the downside, their recent record against Club Brugge is poor, having failed to beat them in each of their last six meetings.
