Her two qualifying wins have allowed her to also make her main draw debut in Madrid. She won both matches without dropping a set. Danilovic defeated Jule Niemeier by the loss of eight games in her final qualifier. The win improved her record to 8-7 with seven of those coming on clay. She has now moved up eight places to 114th in the live ranking.
