Gameweek six in the Indian Super League will see Chennaiyin playing hosts to Goa on Sunday afternoon. The hosts are currently in seventh place in the league standings, while the visitors are third. Chennaiyin made a very poor start to the season, losing their first three matches in succession. However, they returned from the international break with a 1-0 win over Hyderabad and followed up with a convincing 5-1 win over Punjab last week. That leaves them on six points, two below NorthEast United in sixth. Chennaiyin have generally been good on their home patch. They ended last season unbeaten in their final five games, scoring two or more in three of those. Having claimed their first home win in style last week, the hosts will be hoping to kick on from here with another victory in this one. 

Meanwhile, after finishing last season in seventh place, Goa have looked much better this term. They are currently in third place with 10 points, just two behind the current league leaders Mohun Bagan. The visitors also have a game in hand on most of the sides around them, having only played four so far. In those four matches, Goa have won three and drawn one. That makes them one of only three sides in the Super League that are still unbeaten this season. The only points they have dropped came in their last match when they were held to a goalless draw by Bengaluru. That result also halted a five-match winning streak in all competitions. Still, with a solid record this season, the bookmakers make the visitors the favourite to win this match.
