Chelsea vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Chelsea lost at West Ham last weekend all but ending their hopes of retaining the Premier League title. Midweek saw them return to form with a 3-1 away win at Huddersfield Town but they are still 14 points behind the league leaders Manchester City. Chelsea are still third in the table and four points clear of fifth place so another season in the Champions League looks more than confirmed. Home form has seen them unbeaten in their last seven league and cup games since a vital home defeat by Manchester City at the end of September and they have won their last four home Premier League games. Not the greatest of reading for fans of Southampton who suffered a 4-1 home defeat by Leicester City on Wednesday. They may well be 11th in the table but that's only four points above the relegation zone. That defeat by Leicester puts them on a run of four league games without a win and just one win in their last eight. Southampton have only won four league games this season and only have two points from their last five away league games. All a bit worrying and with upcoming fixtures against both Tottenham and Manchester United, there could  be dark days ahead for Southampton. This looks booked to be a home win for Chelsea.
