Chelsea are having a bit of an up and down season so far. Not many sides can boast an away win at Atletico Madrid while also losing at home to Burnley and losing at Crystal Palace. When they play at their best though they are capable of beating the top sides and will hope to be in that mood in this game. The international break may well have had an effect on their performance at Palace on Saturday but with this Champions League game, there was no way that fixture was going to be pushed to either Sunday or Monday. With a bit more rest hopefully Chelsea can continue the good work in this group and get a third win that will all but qualify them for the knock-out stages. The last nine home Champions League games for Chelsea have seen just one defeat by PSG. Roma are second in this group with four points from their two games. They opened with a 1-1 draw at home to Atletico Madrid before a 2-1 away win at Qarabag. Roma are fifth in Serie A at present and undefeated on their travels with three wins and three clean sheets. Champions League form away from home is a big worry though with that win in Qarabag ending a run of ten away games without a win. Chelsea can get a narrow win in this game to maintain their 100 percent record in the group.
