Chelsea will be targeting their third straight win when they host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday. The two London sides go into this game separated by a point; Chelsea 10th and Forest 14th after three games. Chelsea started their season in shaky fashion but some stability is getting in. They came from a goal down in midweek to beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 in the League Cup. That came on the back of a 3-0 win over Luton Town in the league earlier. The Blues will be looking to build on that momentum here, having scored in each of their four matches so far. Each of their last three matches have had over 2.5 goals and both teams scored in three of the last four. The win over Luton Town ended Chelsea’s run of eight league matches at home without a win. Three of their last five matches have had over 2.5 goals with both teams scoring in four. Raheem Sterling starred in the win over Luton, but was rested for the midweek game and should be returning here. Last season he scored three goals against Nottingham and will hope to pick it up from there.

Last season Nottingham Forest came from behind in their two meetings with Chelsea to force draws. They will hope to make it better this time. Going into this game, they have one win in their four matches this season. However, right before this game, Forest suffered a 1-0 loss to Burnley in the League Cup. That was their second straight loss and third in four matches. They only avoided defeat in the 2-1 win over Sheffield United. The loss to Burnley was however the first time in four matches that they failed to score. Both teams have scored in three of their last four matches. Three of their last four matches have as well produced over 2.5 goals. Eight of their last 10 league matches have produced over 2.5 goals. Forest will be banking hopes on their in-form forward Taiwo Awoniyi. He was a late sub against Burnley and is expected to start here. He scored twice against Chelsea last season and in this game he’ll be targeting a fourth league goal this season.
