Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is complaining that his side need more players before the transfer window closes. Perhaps Chelsea shouldn't loan out so many players then. They have already spent over 144 million pounds on Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayko and Antonio Rudiger and what most teams in the Premier League would give to be able to do that and still moan about their squad. Pre-season has been mixed and they lost out in the Community Shield to Arsenal in a penalty shoot-out. Chelsea won 17 out of 19 home league games last season and should be able to get this season off to a flying start. Burnley are in the Premier League simply because of their home form in the first half of the season. They won ten home matches but managed to earn just seven points away from home. In the end they finished 16th just six points above the bottom three and slid down the table getting just 11 points from their last 15 games. Summer spending has been topped by forking out 10 million quid on Jack Cork but they have lost Michael Keane and Andre Gray which severely weakens them. Go for Chelsea to win this on a -1 handicap.
