Both sides have new managers for this Premier League season, a common occurrence for Chelsea but not so for Arsenal. Chelsea have had a few problems in the lead up to the new season with talk of top players being on their way out of the club. So far only Courtois has left Stamford Bridge and he's been replaced already at a huge cost in Kepa, the best name ever for a goalie. They began the season with a comfortable 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town but the visit of Arsenal will be a much sterner test for them. The Blues have a poor recent record against the Gunners with no wins against them in their last seven meetings, though four of the last five have ended level, the most recent being in the International Champions Cup.. Last season Chelsea lost four home league games but have one defeat in the last six.

For Arsenal one of the biggest questions this season is how will they get on away from home?  Last term saw them have the second best home record but the 11th best away record with 11 defeats and only three sides lost more and two of those got relegated. If Arsenal are to get back into the Champions League they have to improve on their travels and they ended last season with seven defeats before a win at Huddersfield on the final day of the season. Unai Emery didn't get off to the best of starts with a home loss to Manchester City last week and he'll be looking to get his team off the mark here. The tip for this game is for it to end in a draw.
