Chapecoense vs Cuiaba Prediction & Betting Tips - Brasileirão Serie A

This Sunday afternoon fixture is an important one at the bottom of the Brazilian Serie A as two teams in the bottom three places do battle at Arena Conda.  Chapecoense are in 19th spot (second bottom) and are still seeking their first victory as are Cuiaba who are one place and two points better off than them.

Chapecoense sufferered a fourth successive defeat last time out going down to Flamengo despite having taken a 67th minute through Perotti but two goals in a four minute spell turned the game around.  It is no victory, four draws and seven defeats for the side who have conceded more goals (20) then any other team in the top flight.  At home, they have struggled with just one point from five played though four of their opponents have been top 12 sides.

Cuiaba made it back-to-back draws last time as their game with finished 2-2 which was impressive as they played around 50 minutes with ten men following the dismissal of Pepe in the 39th minute.  They are still chasing their first victory but have just lost three times and have finished with honours even in six of their nine.  A lack of goals is their biggest issue with their seven netted the third worst record in the division.
