Celtic have three points from their first three games in this group. Europa League qualification looks their most likely destination but a win at home to Bayern Munich would give them a chance of reaching the last sixteen. At the weekend the Scottish champions equalled the British record of 62 games without defeat but being able to avoid defeat against Scottish sides and beating Bayern Munich are two completely different things altogether. They have only played one home game in this group and that ended in a 5-0 loss to PSG. In the reverse fixture against Bayern they lost 3-0, it might be a bit closer this time around but a win for the Germans still looks the most logical result in this game. Celtic have only on three of their last eight home Champions League games and lost three of their last four games in this competition. Bayern Munich are second in the group and have won two of their games so far, losing the other one 3-0 away to PSG. They are unbeaten in their last six games since that loss with only two goals conceded in their last five games. Away form in the Champions League has hindered them in recent years with only three wins in the last nine and three of the last four have ended in defeats. Celtic will do better at home but they are still well below the level of their opponents so go for an away win here.
