Celtic had a tough time in the third qualifying round but eventually got a good win over Rosenborg. Now they take on Astana in the play-off round and will be looking for a good home win in the first leg. They have won both of their opening games in the Sottish Premiership and are second on goal difference behind St Johnstone. Celtic have battled through two qualifying rounds beating Linfield and Rosenborg and are yet to concede a goal. Astana have had a much tougher time getting to this stage. In the second qualifying round, they beat Spartaks Jurmala 2-1 on aggregate and then had a 3-2 aggregate win over Legia Warsaw. They have won one and lost one on their travels and Celtic have the same record at home.
