Lorenzo Sonego continues his quest for a second Moselle Open title and will next face off with seventh seed Cameron Norrie. They will square off in the quarter-finals to mark their second meeting of the season. Read on for our prediction of this match.

Cameron Norrie has had a dominant run of results since he first debuted in Metz last season. The Brit, who finished as runner-up last year, has won seven of the eight matches he has contested at this event.

His most recent victory was a 2-1 success over the lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet in the quarter-finals. For the second time in a row, Norrie, who has contested a decider in all three of his matches this week, fought from a set down.

Currently in 29th place in the live ranking, Norrie is seeking to advance to his first final of the year.

Lorenzo Sonego was crowned champion of the Moselle Open in 2022. This is the first time, however, since that feat, that he has advanced as far in the competition.

The Italian saw off the challenge of Daniel Altmaier in straight sets in the quarter-finals. It was the first time this season that he had won a last-eight showdown.

A quarter-finalist at the Australian Open, Sonego has improved to 25-28 with eight of his victories coming on indoor hard courts. Advancing to this round has nudged the 30-year-old up to 39th in the live ranking.
