Burnley continue to press for European football but as has been the case all season, goals are in short supply. They have managed only 16 goals in 18 Premier League games but conceded just 12. Only five teams have scored less than them but they have the joint best defence with the two Manchester sides. Burnley were held to a goalless draw at Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend but came close to defeat wIth Glenn Murray missing a penalty for the home side. That extended Burnley's unbeaten run to five league games since that last-gasp home defeat by Arsenal. In their last 16 league games they have only been defeated twice and have kept clean sheets in their last three league matches  Eight of their last nine Premier League games have had under 2.5 league goals scored in them and every single home league game has had under 2.5 goals. The Burnley fans may be delighted at their club's high position in the table but it's likely they'd prefer to have seen more than ten league goals in nine matches. Tottenham are seventh in the table and a staggering 21 points behind the league leaders. Their away form began with four straight wins but the last five games on the road have seen them earn just one point at Watford. After this game they have five games against sides below them in the table and they have to capitalize on those games if they want a top four finish. The two sides drew 1-1 at Wembley earlier in the season and this looks to be another typical Burnley game with under 2.5 goals scored.
