While Burnley have enjoyed a fine rise in the past few matches – three wins in three matches – their counterparts, Fulham have struggled to get out of the red zone on their return to the Premier League and this here will be a must win for the London side. For Fulham, a loss could see them fall a good seven points off the safety zone. The Londoners have managed just two wins in their last 17 matches and coming from the loss to lower tier side Oldham in the FA Cup has definitely dented their confidence. Away from home, Fulham have 10 losses in the last 13 away matches across all competitions. They have conceded 12 goals in the last five away matches and scored just two. They take on a Burnley side on three straight wins, and having scored in each of their last five matches. While Burnley have not had an entirely different season to Fulham’s, we can expect them to head here more confident going by their recent form. The fact that Fulham has the worst defence in the league this season doesn’t help matters a lot for the Londoners; they have conceded 47 goals in 21 matches. One of their three wins this season in the Premier League came against Burnley and they will be hoping to seal a double. In the last four matches between the two sides, each has win two and all have produced over 2.5 goals. In 38 meetings in history, Burley have picked 21 wins and Fulham 12.
