Burnley vs Everton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Prediction
Burnley have had a tough season so far, and after getting their opening win of the season in the ninth round of matches, the 10th week proved disastrous, as they were whacked 5-0 by Manchester City. They will be hoping for a better result when they play host to Everton in the 11th week of action. Going to the Saturday game, Burnley have five points and sit 19th on the league table while Everton are eighth with 16 points. Burnley head to this game on three losses in their last five matches, but it will be understandable, having faced Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester City in that run. In matches other than against those three, they have kept clean sheets, but they have conceded nine goals and scored just once in the last five games. Burnley have actually failed to score in five of their last six games and have managed only two wins in their last 11. They haven’t even enjoyed home comforts; in their five home matches this season, they have scored just one goal – in the win over Crystal Palace. The team has lost four of the five league matches at home this season and kept just one clean sheet. They have led at half time in only one of their last five matches, while it has been a low scoring affair in their recent meetings with Everton, as each of the last three has produced under 2.5 goals.
Everton too, head to this game on an unimpressive run. They started their campaign in flying fashion but have slumped lately and have four losses in their last five matches. In their most recent outing, Everton lost to Leeds United, having earlier labored to a 3-2 win over Fulham. They have one win in the last six matches and no clean sheet in their last 11 games. Even with one of the top forwards in the Premier League this season, Everton have failed to score in two of their last five matches, while they have conceded two or more goals in six of their last seven matches. Ten of their last 12 matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they will be glad with their performance away from home in the league, having managed three wins in five. However, they have no clean sheet in four away league matches, while they have conceded twice in three away league matches and failed to score in one. Just like Burnley, the Toffees have led at half time in one of their last five league matches.

Our Burnley vs Everton Prediction
Burnley will hope to bounce back after the heavy loss at Manchester City and key to this will be putting pressure on Everton, who have also not done well in their recent matches. Everton have beaten two of the sides in the bottom five – West Brom and Brighton and with their away form, they will be eyeing a win here as well. On the other hand, Burnley, have struggled for the better part of the season and while they have not found their footing well at home, Everton have exceled away from home. Everton will however harbor defensive concerns going here and we feel both sides will score thus we will go with a 3-1 win for the visitors.
