by Nella Wagah in Championship Predictions
Late drama denied Bristol an opening win in the Championship and they’ll be eyeing better luck on Match Day 2. The Robins will host Millwall on Saturday, with The Lions also seeking to rise after a losing start. In case you are looking to bet on this match, here’s a prediction to help.
Bristol’s hopes for a good start were dashed after conceding a late penalty against Hull City in their opening league game. That led to Fally Mayulu’s 84th minute opener being canceled by Oscar Estupinan’s stoppage time goal.
Hard luck accompanied them to their midweek game as well, Bristol falling at home to Coventry City 1-0 in the League Cup. However, having lost just once in nine league matches, a return to winning ways doesn’t seem far away. They are actually unbeaten in five home league matches, winning four.
Millwall were also denied on the opening weekend courtesy of late drama as they suffered a 3-2 loss at home to Watford. Duncan Watmore’s brace threw them some hope.
However, soon after scoring his second in the 88th minute, Watford netted a stoppage time winner. The Lions did recover with a win in the League Cup, beating Portsmouth 1-0. With that, they’ll go into the Bristol game eyeing a second straight away win.
Heading into this game, Millwall have only one loss in six Championship matches. They kept four clean sheets in that run but only scored more than once in two. The visitors won their last two away league matches, keeping clean sheets.
Just two of their last six away league matches had more than a goal scored and five had under 2.5 goals.

Our Bristol City vs Millwall Prediction
This fixture is not popular for goals; the last three meetings between the competing teams saw just two goals scored. Ahead of this game, Millwall netted more than once in only one of 12 away league matches.
Their recent matches on the road have mostly averaged below 2 goals which also applies in Bristol’s recent home matches. Another low scoring game is thus the expectation here, going by the two teams’ recent returns in attack.
Our prediction for Bristol City v Millwall is for the game to have under 2.5 goals.
Unibet Refer a Friend Bonus
Betting is enjoyed in a big community and Unibet gives you the chance to bring on board your own community, then earn from this. The promotion for this is called ‘Refer a Friend’ and it is not only the user who wins by referring, even the friends brought on board can bring you up to £150 of bonus money.
How this works is that a user is allowed the freedom to referee up to three friends to the site, and these friends will be eligible for the Unibet welcome offer, while the existing user receives in form of Free Bonus Money £30, £40 and £80 for the first, second and third referral.
How does this work? Well, it is simple: the user just has to sign up for the offer by clicking ‘Refer a Friend now’ then invite by referring a maximum of three friends. The friends referred should be residing in the UK, and have to meet their wagering requirements with their welcome bonuses; that is, register, deposit and meet the bonus terms.
Each of these three bonuses have a 5x wagering requirement and it is important to ask the referred friend to register through the link received from the referring friend.
