Bristol City vs Birmingham Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Bristol City moved up to third place in the Championship after a midweek victory away at QPR. They could move into the top two  with a home win over Birmingham City who are down in 18th in the table. The home side had gone two league games without a win before getting back into winning ways. They'd had a hard fixture list though with a home draw against Watford and away loss at Reading. City had to come from behind to get the win at QPR on Tuesday but that was their third away win in the last four. Home form has produced three wins, two draws and two losses. The three home victories have all come against sides currently in the bottom six and Birmingham are seven from the bottom.

Birmingham are only six points above the relegation zone and have only won three of their 15 league matches this season. Their last league win was back in October and six games played since then have seen them earn three points. The most recent league fixture was on Tuesday when they lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley. A disappointing result considering they led 1-0 going into the 71st minute. Their previous three games in the Championship had all been drawn, two 0-0 and a 1-1 stalemate at Luton Town, where they also lost a lead. They are unbeaten in their last four away league matches, three being drawn. The other saw them get a win at Preston who have had terrible home form this season. There haven't been that many goals in their away matches with only one out of seven having over 2.5 goals scored. Going back even further, 12 of their last 14 away matches in the Championship have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. Backing that stat to come up again looks a winner in this game
