Brighton and Hove Albion already have 15 points and start the weekend in eighth place. It has to be said that their fixture list has been a bit kind with only games against Manchester City and Arsenal of sides currently in the top six and both of those ended in defeats. Home form has been strong this season with two wins and two draws since that opening day defeat by Manchester City. They are unbeaten in their last four home league games and in Glenn Murray an in-form striker who has scored four in his last three appearances. The defence is holding up well too with two clean sheets in the last three. Stoke City are down in 14th but only three points behind Brighton but their inconsistency is making life very difficult for them. Not since January of this year have they won two consecutive league games and they have already suffered five league defeats this season. Their goal difference is -9 but they did concede 11 goals in two games against Manchester City and Chelsea. Away form has seen just one win and three losses so far. They regularly concede with just one clean sheet in their last ten league games but have hit the back of the net in their last four away games in the Premier League. Brighton are on a good run at present and they can get a win in this match but there are much tougher fixtures on the way.
