Brighton vs Leeds Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Prediction
Brighton will continue with their fight to avoid relegation on Saturday when they host Leeds United. Going to this game 17th placed Brighton have managed 34 points, which is seven above the relegation region, while Leeds have 47 points, in ninth place. Brighton’s results haven’t been impressive in their recent matches; they are winless in the last four, losing two. Ahead of this game, they lost 1-0 to bottom side Sheffield United, making it three matches without a goal for Graham Potter’s side. They however have three clean sheets in the last five league matches. In 11 league matches, Brighton have managed just two wins and they’ll also need to improve on their home form, having won just two of their 16 league games at home. Half of their home league matches have ended in draws.
Leeds United have secured their stay in the Premier League for another season but they still have the fire in them to keep on rising. They are already in the top half and the ambitious Marcelo Bielsa may still push them to push for a place in Europe. With five games to play and in their current form, Leeds can no doubt push for Europa League at the least. They are unbeaten in the last six league matches and in the process, they’ve drawn with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and beaten Manchester City. One area they’ll want to improve on though, is in defence, having kept just one clean sheet in their last five league matches. That clean sheet came in their last match, against Manchester United, and it was their second straight draw, having won the earlier three matches. They have back to back away wins, against Manchester City and Fulham but have no clean sheet in the last eight away league matches.

Our Brighton vs Leeds Prediction
Brighton have not done well in recent matches and their home form isn’t also quite impressive. They take on a Leeds side coming from and impressive run and with two straight away losses. The big issue for Leeds has been that they don’t keep a lot of clean sheets and Brighton should take advantage. Going by the performance Leeds have had in recent matches, we expect them to concede in this game but a win is more probable for the away team.
