Brighton vs Crystal Palace Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This isn’t going to be a match for the faint-hearted, especially if you are a supporter. Brighton and Hove Albion are 15th in the Premier League, two places and five points behind opponents Crystal Palace. This is regarded as a Derby match even though there is a fair distance between the two clubs. The fans are going to be really up for this game and the players need to be too. Brighton could do with a win to put more points between them and the relegation zone. They have gone eight league matches without a win with no victories this year in any competition. Brighton are the draw experts at present with five of those eight matches ending level. Their last three have all ended in score draws. Home form has been erratic this season and Brighton have drawn their last three with only one win in the last seven Premier League games with only one clean sheet. All a bit disappointing as this run follows three straight wins at the Amex.

Crystal Palace are also struggling for form but are a comfortable nine points above the bottom three. They are only eight behind fifth place so it could yet be an interesting end to the season. A few good wins could see them in Europe next season. Some bad results though could result in them being dragged into a relegation battle. Palace beat Newcastle 1-0 at home last weekend, that ended a run of seven league matches without a win. They had drawn four in a row but had lost the next three before that vital win last weekend. Palace struggle for goals with only 24 scored in the league, the joint lowest total. Away form has seen them without a win in their last six Premier League matches, the last victory being in November. Four of those games have been drawn and the tip here is for this match to end all square with both teams scoring.
