Brest are rising steadily following their slow start to the season and they look to keep the momentum when they host Nice. Les Pirates are on a five-match unbeaten run and will feel as favorites, taking on Les Aiglons. Read on for our preview and prediction.
Brest have completed a run of five matches without defeat for the first time since January 2024. Back then they posted a run of 10 unbeaten matches and they’ll be gunning for the same.
Eric Roy’s charges are unbeaten in three matches against Nice though the last two were draws.
Nice may have failed to beat Brest in the last three meetings but they are the dominant side in this fixture. Over the course of the last seven meetings, they lost just once and won four times.
They are coming from a well-deserved 2-1 win over Monaco, which ended their undefeated start to the season. After coming from behind to beat Monaco, the one remaining puzzle for Nice is working on their defence.
They haven't kept a clean sheet in five matches though they only failed to score in three of their past 12 matches across all competitions. In their last six away league matches, Nice managed one clean sheet and one win.
