Defending champions Dinamo Brest won 3-0 at the weekend to move up to 10th in the Belarus Premier League. They are still six points behind the leaders though and will want to close that gap when hosting Dinamo Minsk who are 13th.  It was a good week for Dinamo with them reaching the final of the Belarus Cup and then winning 3-0 away at bottom-of-the-table Belshina. That was their third league win of the season but they have also been beaten three times. That was a welcome win for them as they had lost their last three games, two to in-form Shakhtyor. Home form has seen them earn four points from four games, something they definitely need to improve on. The last three have seen them win two and lose one, so they are gradually recovering from their slow start to the season.

Dinamo Minsk are three places below their opponents but only a point behind them. They have won three league games this season but lost four. They had a disappointing weekend losing 2-1 at home to league leaders FC Slutsk. A point might have been rescued but they missed a first half penalty. They had won their previous two league games but those came against sides currently in the bottom three. Two of their three away games have been lost and they have only won one of their last eight away league fixtures, conceding in all of them, Go for Brest to get the home win in this game.
