Bragantino vs Santos Prediction & Betting Tips - Brasileirão Serie A

This fixture in the early hours of Monday morning is a Brazilian Serie A battle between two teams in the top-half.  This is an important one at the top of the table as second placed RB Bragantino take on ninth placed Santos two sides seperated by seven places and eight points.

Red Bull (Atletico) Bragantino were in midweek action in the South American Champions League winning 2-0 away to Independiente Valle while in the league their last game saw them draw 2-2 with Athletico Paranaense.  They are unbeaten this season with six victories and five draws from 11 matches with each of their last two finishing all-square. They could be higher in the table if they improved their home form having drawn four (and won one) of their five.  

Santos continued their recent inconsistent form with a defeat last time out 3-2 at Palmerias despite netting a couple of penalties they were unable to launch a comeback from conceding two in the opening 22 minutes.  The defeat means they have drawn two, lost two and won two of their last six which is why they sit in the middle third of the table in ninth.  On the road, they have struggled with four defeats and just one draw from five played.
