Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the Premier League when they travel to face AFC Bournemouth on Saturday. The hosts are currently in 14th place in the league, while the visitors are sixth after two matches. After being tipped to be relegated at the start of last season, Bournemouth defied the odds with a 15th-place finish. They ended the campaign on 39 points, five clear of the relation zone despite losing their final four matches of the season. The Cherries secured a point against West Ham on opening weekend but were comprehensively beaten 3-1 at Anfield last weekend. With that, they are now winless in their last six league matches on either side of the summer break. Bournemouth took 22 points in 19 matches at home last term but lost four of their final five games at the Vitality Stadium. However, they did win the last match between these sides 3-1 back in April this year.  

After slumping to an eighth-placed finish last season, Spurs will be aiming for a better season under Ange Postecoglou. The visitors failed to qualify for any of the continental club competitions, finishing one point behind Aston Villa in seventh. They ended the season with just two wins in their final eight league matches. However, Spurs have begun this season much better, drawing 2-2 to Brentford before securing an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester United last week. While the Lilywhites' form was poor over the second half of last season, they carried a significant goal threat and that has remained the same this term. Spurs have scored two or more goals in five of their last eight league games, though they have only turned three of those performances into a victory.
