Manchester United's title challenge ended when they lost 1-0 at home to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday. They are still second in the Premier League and are a point clear of Liverpool and this is their game in hand so a win here will go a long way towards securing a Manchester 1-2.  The shock defeat by the Premier League's bottom side ended a run of five straight league wins and away from home, United have won their last two with a pair of 3-2 wins at Crystal Palace and Manchester City. If they are to get closer to City next season, away form will have to improve though with four defeats this season and 14 points earned less than the league champions.

Bournemouth are 11th in the table but ten points clear of the relegation zone. They have done well again to escape serious relegation problems, especially having conceded 56 league goals this season, a figure only surpassed by three other teams. They lost 3-0 at Liverpool on Saturday and have just one win in their last eight league matches, a home victory over West Brom. Home form has been patchy with one win in their last four but they have won six league games this season, drawn five and lost six so inconsistency personnified and they have a negative goal difference.  in home games against sides currently in the top five they have yet to earn a point scoring just twice and conceding 11. Bournemouth don't have much to play for, while United want that second place so go for the away win in this match.
