Botafogo are back in the Brazilian Serie A and they get a tough test as they start their journey back in the top flight with a home game against Corinthians. The hosts already have a taste of what facing top flight opposition is, coming from the Carioca Serie A where they took on Fluminense, among others. In fact, in their last game in the Carioca, they beat Fluminense 2-1. They go into this game with two wins in the last five matches but just one clean sheet in the five games. Four of these five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they’ve failed to score in one. Botafogo have two losses in their last three home matches, both against Serie A opposition – Flamengo and Fluminense and three of their last five home matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
