A pivotal game four of the NBA Finals is set to tip off on Friday when the Boston Celtics host the Golden State Warriors at the TD Garden. After a 116-100 win in game three, the Celtics are looking to go up 3-1 in the series while the Warriors will be seeking to even the series up at two games a piece before returning to San Francisco for game five. For the Warriors, falling down 3-1 would mean they would be faced with the monumental task of becoming only the second ever team to come back from such a deficit in the NBA Finals while a win would see them regain home court advantage with two of the next three games set to take place in their gym. Boston has certainly looked the more complete team during the first three games but can the experience and championship DNA of the Warriors guide them to a victory with their backs firmly against the wall in this game?

This has been a series of adjustments and so far Boston head coach Ime Udoka has gotten the better of the Warriors Steve Kerr. Golden State should still have a few tricks up their sleeve in regards to defensive looks that they can pull out to try to slow down the versatile trio of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart – although it must be said that they’ve struggled to contain them so far this series. However, the Warriors are always a threat with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on the court and the splash brothers can score buckets in a hurry when they are locked in and firing. They’ll need both to be in top form as well as a bigger contribution from their role players if the Warriors are to cause an upset and win game four as the underdogs.
