Borussia Dortmund vs Atletico Madrid Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Both of these teams missed out on the Champions League knock-out stages last season but that doesn't look like happening this time around. Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid both have six points from their opening two games with Monaco and Club Brugge yet to earn any points. The next two matchdays see Dortmund face Atletico Madrid, so these games will go a long way towards determining who will finish top and who will come second, unless there are some big shocks on the way. Dortmund top the Bundesliga by three points and have won their last six league and cup games with 21 goals scored by them in the last five.  Their most recent league game was a 4-3 win over Augsburg. They trailed 2-1 and needed a 96th minute goal to get the three points. They'll have to defend better in this game if they want to stay top of the group.  Dortmund have only won one of their last five home Champions League matches and conceded nine goals. 

Atletico Madrid won the Europa League last season after failing to get out of their Champions League group. They have made a much better start this season with wins away at Monaco and home to Club Brugge. Atletico are fifth in La Liga but only two points off the top of the table. They have drawn four of their league games and three of their last four away matches in the Champions League. Atletico are unbeaten in their last eight league and cup matches and on a six-game unbeaten run in the Champions League. Both teams are in good form and the tip here is for a draw.
