Lyon travel to face Bordeaux in Ligue 1. 5 games remain for each club and the race for the final Champions League spot is still on fire. Saint Etienne are only three points behind.  Bordeaux are in 14th place but should be safe from safety as they are now 10 points ahead of Dijon FCO in the relegation zone. Lyon still have it to play for and will want three points here to try and seal at least third spot. Bordeaux are in bad form after losing 2-1 to Nimes and 3-0 to Saint Etienne.  Lyon were winner over Angers, but were recently defeated by Nantes, Dijon and Rennes. Three losses out of 5 is very disappointing for the team from Lyon. They were very frustrated when the last time the sides met. Lyon lost out on a win after a 1-1 stalemate at home to Bordeaux. In fact, Lyon are winless in their previous 5 meetings. Three were draws and two wins for Bordeaux, scoring 11 in total. This is Lyon’s time to bounce back in form and show how they good they are. Dembele has scored 12 this season and will need to be at his best for this game.
