Bodo/Glimt host Linfield in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. They trail 1-0 after the first leg but will be confident of making it into the next round. The winers of this tie face either Zalgiris or Malmo in the next round, with Zalgiris 1-0 up after the first leg. Bodo/Glimt  (third in their domestic league) famously made it to the last eight of the Europa Conference League last season. It was their home form that did most of the work. Again, their away form hindered them in the first leg of this tie. Linfield won 1-0 with Kirk Millar scoring in the 83rd minute. That made it just one win in their last 10 away European games. However, at home they have won ten in a row with only four goals conceded and at least two goals scored in all but one of them. They have only lost one of their last 30 home games and won the last four with 14 goals scored. The first qualifying round saw them beat Klaksvik 4-3 on aggregate, winning 3-0 at home and losing 3-1 away.

Linfield did well to win the first leg but probably needed a larger lead to take to this second leg.  They are yet to begin the new league season and this is a bit of a step up from their recent 8-1 win in a friendly at H&W Welders. They beat TNS from Wales in the first qualifying round but lost the away leg 1-0. Only one of their last 15 away games in Europe has ended in victory with five of the last six lost. The tip here is for Bodo/Glimt to get the win and be ahead at both half and full time.
