Reading had another good win on Saturday and remain top of the Championship. They have gone five points clear at the top but face a tricky away game at 10th placed Blackburn Rovers. The league leaders made it six wins and a draw in the Championship when beating Rotherham United 3-0 at home. That victory was made even better as the three teams below them all drew. Reading have conceded just one goal in the league this season with clean sheets in each of the last four. Away form has seen them win at Derby County and Cardiff City before a goalless draw against Middlesbrough. Only two of their seven league games this season have had over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Blackburn Rovers are in tenth but only two points away from the promotion play-off positions. They had earned just one point from their last three league fixtures before Saturday's 4-0 win at struggling Coventry City, who have averaged conceding two goals a game this season. Blackburn return home where they have had mixed results this season. One game has been won, one drawn and one lost. The win came in their first home game of the season as they beat Wycombe Wanderers (yet to earn a league point this season) 5-0. They haven't scored in their last two home games and it won't be easy getting past Reading. Back the away side to win or draw this match.
