Birmingham vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Birmingham City have again made a slow start to their season with only four points from their first six league games and no wins to date. Even worse there's the threat of a 12-point deduction for breaching financial fairplay rules. They host neighbours West Bromwich Albion in this Friday fixture with their opponents ninth in the table, though a win here will take them up to third. The home side have drawn four of their six games so far and only scored four goals. They have failed to score in five of their seven games this season (they lost 2-0 to Reading in the Carabao Cup) and their last two home league matches have both ended goalless. All three home league games have been drawn this season 

West Bromwich Albion were relegated from the Premier League last season and this is their first league meeting with Birmingham since 2011. They are ninth in the Championship with ten points from their six games with three wins, a draw and two defeats. West Brom have won three of their last four league games, the other being a loss away at second-placed Middlesbrough. Three away games have produced a win, a draw and that loss to Boro. Albion have won their last three games against Birmingham City and can make it four with an away win here.
